Sunday is the day before the beginning of a new week, and it’s the day to say good bye to the dirt and oil that had been clinging to your pores throughout the previous week. Sunday is the ideal day to try different face masks that would make your skin smooth, radiant and prepared for the week ahead.
Having a good skin care regime is quite necessary, especially if you spend the majority of your time outdoors and tend to wear makeup on a daily basis. Even if you’re a clean freak and wash your face twice a day, your skin still can get clogged very easily. Our pores get clogged due to secretion of sebum or dry and dead skin cells. You do not have to be working in a factory to get your pores clogged, your pores get clogged by the normal everyday dirt and filth that is in our environment constantly.
Other than washing your face daily with a facewash that is suitable for your skin type, it is necessary to add other factors to your skin care regime that would prevent your face from breaking out, dullness, blackheads and clogged pores etc. Sunday is the prime day to clean your pores and exfoliate your skin. Initially exfoliating first is what I prefer and that too with products that are easily available at home. To exfoliate all you need is two tablespoons of crushed coffee and two tea spoons of organic coconut oil. After mixing these products together, make sure the coffee particles are fine and not clumping together. Then proceed to put this mixture in small quantities on your face and then start rubbing it in circular motions.
To begin, you should start from the middle of your face and then continue to massage your face with this coffee and oil mixture and continue doing so until you feel your face getting smoother. By exfoliating you are basically getting rid of the dead skin on your face and doing this will make your face feel much fresher than before immediately. After doing this, wash your face properly with your favourite facewash and dry your face by patting the towel on your face and not roughly rubbing it. Post exfoliating, it’s time for a face mask .Personally, I prefer to use organic Multani matti which is easily available at any herbal shop along with whatever quantity of water that seems fit for the Multani matti you’re adding. Moreover add a few drops of Tea Tree Oil, mix all these ingredients together and continue to apply a thick layer of this mask all over your face and down your neck. It’s preferred to use a brush to apply this mask on your face but if not, make sure you use clean hands to do so. This mask will dry down in about fifteen to twenty minutes and your face will feel good as new after washing it. To end this Sunday face treatment, it is major key to moisturize your face with a good face moisturizer that is suitable for your skin type.
